Steam Yacht Gondola Walkers’ Cruise: 24th March 2018 to 28th October 2018: 11am
Take in the stunning scenery around Coniston Water on a combined lake cruise and walk. Cruise down the length of the lake and then take an energising walk from Lake Bank back to Coniston Pier (12km) or from Parkamoor to Brantwood (7.5km).

Women’s canoe camping weekend trip: Saturday 14th August to Sunday 15th August 2018:
A two day mini- expedition on Coniston, camping on a private site on the East shore. Cost includes camp fees. You will need your own canoe, camping gear, food etc. Details and booking on the website (www.cumbriacanoeists.org.uk).

The Arena Chillswim Coniston: Saturday 1st September 2018
This 5.25 mile swim is now in its sixth year and will be held on Saturday 1st September 2018! Arena Chillswim Coniston has been sold out every year since its inception and the 2018 event is no different.

Lakeland Trails in Coniston: Saturday 22nd September 2018
Starting and finishing at Landing Point, Coniston Hall near Coniston village, the 10km Coniston Trail Run, 15km Coniston Trail Race and 15km Coniston Trail Challenge follow circuits along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of Lake Coniston and the surrounding peaks of the Old Man, Swirl How, Wetherlam and Dow Crags. Underfoot conditions are generally good for those used to off road running, although there is one short 200m section after approx 4km on the 15km routes which only agile mountain goats will be able to run!
A carnival atmosphere is guaranteed for both spectators and competitors, with live music, race commentary, food and drink all available at the start and finish. So, whether you’re new to trail running, an experienced athlete, or simply looking for an unforgettable day out in the Lake District, a family-friendly, festival atmosphere and some amazing trail running awaits you!
